And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of Him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of Him: That he Lives.

This is probably my favorite part of the Living Christ. To know that our Savior and Redeemer lives is a blessing in our lives. There are so many in this world who don't have the blessing of knowing this. We would like to add our testimony to that of the Lord's Prophet and Apostles. We know that our Savior lives; that he stands at the head of the church; that he leads and guides his Prophets. He loves us and guides us and has blessed us with the restored Gospel which we are so grateful for.
This month has been a busy one for us. We have been busy with a couple that have been having the lessons for the past couple of months from the Elders. They even set a baptismal date: December 2013. Mainly because they thought that they needed to know so much more about the Gospel before the commitment of baptism. Then they had a grandson that was introducing them to some anti-Mormon material. They were becoming a bit confused. However, they had felt the spirit and know that what we had was something special. Elder Nelson and I met with them one evening and we were able to put their minds at ease concerning some of the anti material. She had been going to Wikipedia for her information. We told her that that could be just someone opinion and not the truth and to be careful of it. A few days later she had checked out Wikipedia and thanked us for our advice.
They volunteered to go to the Bishop's storehouse on March 12. We rode with them and a couple others from our ward. It was a wonderful day with them at the storehouse They were happy to see how the welfare program of the church works.

Peggy Stone. She is a very faithful sister in our ward who participates in everything. She does not live in good circumstances but she rises above them. She has no car and rides the bus to everything no matter how early or late the activity.
On March 15 we took the Kings to the Church Ranch in St. Cloud. On our way there we played "A Profile of a Prophet" by Hugh B. Brown. They were both impressed by that talk.
That evening was the yearly rodeo. We drove the 3 hours there getting lost only once. We arrived in time to have their barbeque dinner. They served the best barbeque sandwich I have ever tasted and some yummy beans. While there we also met another of our Senior Couples there. The rodeo was such fun. They had bronco riding, mutton riding (little, tiny kids rode the sheep and usually lasted a few feet before falling off), steer branding (they used flour not hot irons), steer roping, fancy horse riding, etc.

This cow was so stubborn. They were trying to milk him and he just sat down and wouldn't budge. It was hilarious. No matter what they tried she wouldn't move.
Greased pigs were released and all these kids tried to catch them.
After the fun this little kid didn't want to leave the rodeo ground. That man worked hard to persuade to go to his parents.

After our week with the Kings, the Bishop met with them on Sunday. They have been attending our ward for the last month. After their meeting with him, he called us and the Elders into his office and we were informed that they planned to be Baptized on March 30th. Yea! We were so excited and grateful to have them desire to enter the waters of baptism. They will bless this ward greatly.
They were Baptized on Saturday and Paul confirmed them both on Easter Sunday. A special day for the Kings.

Afterwards the Kings took us all to lunch at Italia Mia.
On March 20th we flew to Utah. Paul's Mother was to celebrate her 100th bithday. The family had planned a wonderful party at her church building. Because we were able to be in our home we had the family come over on Friday night for crockpot soups. Lori helped me by making two soups (beef barley and tomato basil) and I made a taco soup. The families seemed to come at intervals and so we were able to feed everyone throughout the evening. It was a great night being able to be with my whole family - children/spouses and grandchildren. We are so blessed. The little ones had fun in the basement with all the toys. Paul and Jeremy put together a race track which entertained the little boys. On Saturday morning, 23rd, we first of all had the baptism of our grandson, Niko. He is Bradley's little boy. They live in Arizona and wanted to have the whole family present so they scheduled his baptism at Kimber's ward. We had a wonderful baptism and got pictures of our entire family. Afterwards we went to Kimber's for a quick lunch and then we went to the church to help Stacey decorate the cultural hall. Stacey, with Kimber's help, did a marvelous job with the decorations. It was so colorfully decorated. We had an open house from 5-7 and then we had a program honoring mom in the Chapel.

We visited the Church History Museum after the

One last experience. On Wednesday, March 27, we attended our District Meeting. They had prepared a very enjoyable program of the last week of the Saviors Life. They had video that went through His life and they also talked about each video. Near the end of the program they had us go into the cultural hall and they had it set up as the upper room where Christ instituted the Sacrament and washed the feet of His Disciples. Our Zone Leaders who conducted the meeting had each of the Elders come to the front and they washed each of their shoes with a polish cloth. Then one of the sisters did the same to the sisters shoes. It was a very humbling and inspirational time.

Well, that does it. Lots of photos. Hopefully not too much print. It has been a wonderful month. We have had so many great experiences. We now have new experiences to look forward to.
